What INTELLIZ does, IntScan Pro vs IntSight, adding AI to existing machines, how a project goes, what to prepare, pricing and consulting from abroad.
What people ask when they consider AI visual inspection.
What does INTELLIZ do? INTELLIZ Corp., founded in 2021 in South Korea, builds a physical AI inspection platform. It supplies optical modules and deep learning inspection software for machine vision and visual inspection, connecting capture, AI decisions, validation before installation and operation.
Where is the company? The main office is in Cheonan, the R&D center in Seoul (Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu) and the manufacturing lab in Dongtan, all in South Korea. The distributor in Japan is BIT DEVICE Co., Ltd. in Osaka.
What track record is public? 30+ paid deployments across 6 industries (company tally, October 2026), 12 patents (4 registered, 8 filed), selection for TIPS, and indirect export of semiconductor component inspection systems to the US. The 2.47ms external test average is for the segmentation engine, per 1024×1024 image, in a KIPT test; it is not total inspection time or line throughput.
What products are there? The physical AI inspection platform has four products: IntCloud Optic (AI optical inspection module), IntLearn Pro (deep learning inspection software), IntLearn Kinesis (virtual factory validation before installation) and IntWise (industrial AI you operate by speaking). IntScan Pro and IntSight run inspection, IntViewer Pro shows results and IntCloud OCR reads shop-floor displays.
How do IntScan Pro and IntSight differ? They are two products for different cameras. IntScan Pro is for line scan cameras only and inspects continuously moving materials such as paper, film, metal and textiles. IntSight is for area scan cameras and inspects and measures discrete parts such as coils and FPCs.
What does IntLearn Pro do? It turns experts’ OK/NG judgments into training data and builds inspection models for everything from film to PCBs, with six AI engines and six modules optimized by INTELLIZ. Models and inspection criteria are bundled into an inspection package (.izpkg) and applied to IntScan Pro or IntSight.
Can it run inside the factory, without the cloud? Yes. IntLearn Pro, IntScan Pro and IntSight are on-premises software, and IntWise runs on in-house GPUs.
Can performance be checked before installation? With IntLearn Kinesis you build robots, conveyors and cameras as a virtual cell and train on synthetic data, so imaging conditions and inspection performance can be checked before installation. Whether it finally applies is decided after a review of samples and site conditions.
What products and defects can be inspected? Public use cases cover film (bubbles, scratches, foreign matter), paper (foreign matter, holes, wrinkles, contamination), injection-molded containers (deformation, cracks, burrs, short shots and more) and reusable containers (residual contamination, damage). For other products, choose “Other” as the field in the inquiry. Whether it applies is decided after a review of samples and site conditions.
Can AI decisions be added to the machine we already have? We consult on adding AI decisions to the inspection machine or automation you already use. If you have saved images, we start by reviewing them. Whether your camera and lighting can stay is confirmed in the consultation.
How does a project go? Consultation and sample review, validation before installation, deployment on the line, then review and retraining. We first check the inspection target, the defects to find and the line conditions with you.
What should we prepare for a consultation? The part, its size and the faces to inspect; the defects and their smallest size; hourly output and how parts arrive; automatic rejection; how you inspect now and with how many people; space and power.
How much does it cost? Prices are not public. Configuration and quote follow a review of samples and site conditions, and the quote says whether installation, training and maintenance are included and their scope.
Can we consult from outside Korea? Yes. Whether installation and support are possible abroad, and how, is confirmed in the consultation. In Japan there is the distributor BIT DEVICE; other partners are on the contact page (as of October 2026). An MOU is a cooperation agreement, not a contract or a sale.
